BlueHarvest Awareness Tour

Did you know BlueHarvest is free? Not everyone does, so we’re going on a short tour of the US, tweeting-up and visiting schools wherever we can!

If you’re in any of these places at these times, please leave a comment or hit us up on twitter (@BlueHarvestFdbk or @ThinkThankThunk) and we’ll do our best to bring the BH swag to your school.

Schedule:

  1. Dallas: June 7 & 8 Tweet-up at Mockingbird Station Sbucks on the 8th 1:30-4:00
  2. Iowa City: June 9, 10, & 11 – Leave a comment if you’d like to meet up!
  3. Chicago: June 12 – 11:00 a.m. Mannheim Rd Sbucks in Des Plaines.
  4. Seattle: June 12, 13, & 14. Tweet-up on the 14th (location tweeted as the day approaches)
  5. SF Bay Area: June 15, 16, 17, & 18. Sunday the 17th: Tweet-Up at Four Barrel Roasters on Valencia at 1:00. Bar in the evening.
  6. New York City: June 19 & 20. Tweet-up evening of the 19th at Berry Park in Brooklyn

Our schedule in each city is intentionally only partially full. We’d love to come visit your school.

We’re looking to learn as much as possible about what teachers need in order to give good feedback.

See you soon!

I teach 8th grade science. I am edging my way into SGB. Do you think blue harvest would work in my setting. We still report “grades” in PowerSchool. It seems like a cool idea. Does the student side work well with iPads?

  • Mr. Owens says:

If this tour is still happening and you have some openings I teach in New York and would be interested in trying to arrange a visit!

  • Megan says:

Hey! I am not on twitter (shocking…I know!) so could you let me know where you will be in the Seattle area? I would LOVE the chance to meet up at this event. Thanks so much!

  • I hope to make it to the Chicago meetup

  • JB says:

Oh, I wish I could make it to Chicago on the 12! I’d love to learn more about using BH for my chemistry classes. Would you consider another trip to the Windy City later this summer?

  • Collin Voigt says:

When and where in Chicago will you be?

  • Leif Segen says:

    Iowa City:
Yes, I’d like to meet up to discuss BH. Being 2.5 hours away limits my flexibility, but I’m very down.

  • Scott Haluck says:

When you are in SF, I would love to crash at another school. Please let me know where you will be. If you are interested, I could probably get 5-10 teachers at my school together on the 15th or 18th (if that crowd is worth your time). I will probably miss the tweet up as I will be spending Father’s day with my daughter. Glad you will make it out to SF!!
